MAX steel ball bearing with 40 mm inner diameter, 52 mm outer diameter, 7 mm thickness and LLU seal.
Similar to the LLB type seal, the LLU is a full contact, double junction seal in a groove on the inside of the body. With more sealing pressure, these are ideal for pivots or steering gears that continually come into contact with dirt, sweat and dust. The increased sealing pressure and 2 lips help retain up to 90% of the grease,
The MAX bearing line does not have a collar to hold the high-precision chrome balls, so it is completely filled throughout the entire space. This gives us 40% more strength capacity to slide under pressure. The MAX bearings are exclusively for bottom brackets, frame links, and headsets.
