The Tripeak ABEC5 line is the first major UP in relation to the most widely used bearings on the market. It has a double-fit silicone seal to keep the grease in good condition for longer and prevent contaminants from entering the bearing, such as dust, mud, sand, etc. It uses high-precision balls on a scale of 5/1,000,000 and a high degree of durability R-64, which are normally found in high-precision equipment and for military use. The internal seals (cages) are made of nylon/graphite or the new 1022 steel (it depends on the bearing and its use) serving well the new thru-axles or the asymmetrical forces of the disc brake. The grease used is German and has shown efficient results in any weather and terrain situation, improving protection against water, dirt, mud, and sand, for long periods.
